Dear God, Please
by Your grace allow us to 'hear' and believe in the
truths of the good works of Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
That through him and joyful obedience, we may enjoy the gift of your love now and throughout
an eternal afterlife.
Amen

Why...
www. Help Sow Good Seeds . com ?
As a believer in Jesus Christ, I am commanded to share the good news of the
Gospel / The Holy Bible.
"Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creatures."
Mark 16:15
14 .... Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 1:14-15
Like many men & women who have come to hear and believe the truth...
I am compelled to use what talents and abilities I have been blessed with... to make an
earnest effort to also share and help evangelize God's Word.
I endeavor to please God through obedient and loving service;
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:...
John 14:21
and to be most fair and helpful to you as an audience,
- Bible scripture will be shared that supports claims made,
Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception,
nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the
truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience
in the sight of God.
Corinthians 4:2
so that you (we) can
discern/know... the truth.
God, through His means deals with
this for each individual.
The Bible states....
... they received the message with great eagerness and examined
the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
Acts 17:11
Then opened He [Christ]
their understanding, that they might
understand the scriptures,
Luke 24:45
It is also my responsibility to share
my own personal testimony.
"be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of
the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."
1 Peter 3:15
My (One Flower's) Testimony:
Before I received Jesus Christ in my life, most days were quiet, uninspiring, and unproductive.
I felt burdened and wearied from 20 plus years of looking for a philosophy that could guide
me to success, prosperity, and a sense of peace.
I believed in God. That something powerful, wonderful, magical, and awesome made the flowers,
and the birds, the jellyfish and
placed the planets in the sky. However, I doubted the doctrine that Jesus Christ was the Son of God /
God Himself.
It didn't make sense: How Mary became pregnant; Christ walking on water;
A man raised from the dead; The Red Sea parted (?!)
One August day, in the summer of 2011, a door hanger was left at my home. It was an invitation to a
nearby church's community event. By nearby I mean a 4 minute walk! Unknown to my wife & kids (4),
I ( surprisingly ) made up my mind to go. They went also.
After a late afternoon/early evening of music, praise, games, and some shared testimony - in concluding
the event, the church leadership made a call to "Come and receive Christ". Even more suprisingly,
I decided to suspend my doubts & intellectual pride - and moved forward in faith
( more accurately "in hope" )... and accepted the call.
Soon afterward, maybe a week, I was visited by a husband & wife ( Tim & Emily Arnett) who attend the church.
And Then visited by another married couple ( The Martens ). All spoke with a zeal that felt genuine.
The Pastor, Jake J. Thornhill & "First Lady", Miss Patsy also visited me. He said that at the church gathering "Frank,
You raised your hand" as a sign of a commitment to receive Christ in your life.
I told him that "I did that contrary to the truth of the dis-beliefs that I have...
about Jesus Christ being the Son of God."
I continued... "I know I can't lie to God about this matter; and that I'm not going to lie
to you about it either". I had expected to feel judged by him in a negative way for what I had
just said.
However, I didn't feel that. He simply shared a part of his & his wife's story/testimony.
He was personable and keen with his words. His lovely wife... smiling, sweet, and soft-spoken.
He extended an invitation for me and my wife, and for our kids to attend church.
We went the following Sunday. And then the next Sunday, and then the next.
And we went to Sunday School.
We continued to attend for essentially a year ( until our move to Washington, DC - where we still attend
worship).
My oldest daughter (14) is not nearly as objecting as before.
Prayers were made on my (and my family's) behalf. I was given books to read.
In earnest, I began reading the Bible. And like magic found passages that
gave me insight and resolved the doubts
I had concerning Jesus Christ, the church and such.
I read articles online, in magazines, brought books from the local thrift stores, Googled topics,
cross referenced,.... and delightfully, most everything began to make sense.
Along with
the combined exhaustive research and shared reasoning of others [ regular folks and scholars ]
I was further convinced that Jesus Christ was in fact The Son of God; and God himself;
And that the great gift of the Bible is indeed authored by God - through the work of chosen inspired men.
I read something
online that I found compellingly remarkable
by a writer named C.S. Lewis.
He essentially said "Jesus Christ could not be only a great moral man and teacher as many claim.
He would have to be who he says he is [ the Son of God ] or else a complete lunatic and fantastic liar."
I could feel (and then realize) that scripture is true.
If I could be of service to any disbeliever: Two things that I infer/offer.
Understand that....
1. God is Supernatural.
2. Prayer Works.
Please pray to God for the answers you seek.
I believe...
that God did come down to earth as a man, Jesus Christ; to live
a righteous life and have his story recorded to provide me (us) with the opportunity to
believe in and receive an
unsurpassed gift of love now and in an eternal afterlife.
Our lives are of wonderful precious significance.
Through a bestowing of the Holy Spirit, I am empowered;
engaging with a matured enthusiasm and increasing vitality.
I'm more tolerant, patience, congenial, and responsible. It appears even that
my kids are happier and my wife compassionately thrilled.
I am joyful in my giving of praise to My (Our) Lord and Wonderfully
Magnificent Creator & Savior, God, Jesus Christ. Who loving me
beyond measure - choose to have his blood shed, and died on the
cross so that I would have a chance to repent of MY sins and gain
redemption for my transgressions. I now strive to continually
resist the temptation to sin. I bow down in willing humility
to God in Worship with loving respect & wholehearted gratitude -
and the hope of being with Him as a faithful follower in the
eternal life after this one passes.
